Warm Temperatures Set to Continue Islandwide

Warm weather conditions currently affecting the island are expected to persist today (30), according to the Department of Meteorology.

Showers or thundershowers are likely to occur in a few areas of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Northwestern provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.

Elsewhere, mainly dry conditions are expected to prevail across the island.

The department also noted that misty conditions may develop in parts of the Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with Galle and Matara districts, during the early morning hours.
