Three Indian nationals were injured after a drone attack targeted the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ), authorities confirmed on Monday, as emergency crews continued working to control a fire sparked by the incident.
According to the Fujairah Media Office, the injured individuals suffered moderate wounds and were taken to hospital for medical treatment. Officials said further updates would be released as more information becomes available.
Preliminary reports indicate that the blaze erupted after a drone strike believed to have originated from Iran, with authorities describing the situation at the oil facility as ongoing and under close monitoring.
Emergency response teams from Civil Defence were quickly deployed to the site and remain engaged in efforts to contain and extinguish the fire.
