Registrations for overseas players aiming to take part in the 2026 Lanka Premier League (LPL) will officially open on Friday (May 8), according to Sri Lanka Cricket.
In a statement, Sri Lanka Cricket confirmed that the registration window will remain open until May 18, giving international players a limited period to apply.
The process will be conducted online through the board’s official website, allowing players from around the world to submit their entries for the upcoming tournament.
The LPL 2026 tournament is set to be staged across four प्रमुख venues in Sri Lanka. Matches will be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, and Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
The tournament is scheduled to run from July 10 to August 5, 2026, bringing together both local and international cricketing talent for one of Sri Lanka’s premier T20 competitions.
