Facebook is rolling out a new initiative aimed at high-profile social media creators, offering $3,000 per month for posting content under its Creator Fast Track program. The scheme targets influencers with more than one million followers on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
Meta, Facebook’s parent company, highlighted that it paid nearly $3 billion to creators in 2025 through various monetization programs. The new program is designed to attract established creators who are either new to Facebook or returning after a hiatus, giving them incentives to share short-form videos or reels.
Under the scheme, approved creators in the US and Canada must post 15 short videos per month to earn the full $3,000. Influencers with fewer than a million followers on other platforms can receive up to $1,000 monthly.
Industry insiders, however, have raised doubts about the program’s impact. Jordan Schwarzenberger, manager for the influencer group Sidemen, noted that while the offer is generous, most top creators already earn far more through brand deals and YouTube revenue. He argued that simply bringing creators to Facebook may not automatically draw their audiences, as fans tend to spend more time on platforms they already prefer.
Facebook’s Creator Fast Track also provides access to its monetization tools, which reward content based on views and engagement. Despite this, experts suggest the program may primarily appeal to smaller creators, potentially limiting its effect on overall user engagement.
