England and Scotland Discover World Cup Kick-Off Times and Venues

England and Scotland now know their official venues and kick-off times for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, following Saturday’s schedule announcement.

England will play all three of their Group L matches in the United States, with kick-off times that largely suit UK viewers. Their fixtures against Croatia on 17 June and Ghana on 23 June will begin at 21:00 BST, while their final group match against Panama on 27 June in New Jersey kicks off at 22:00 BST.

Scotland, however, face far later kick-off times. Their opening Group C match against Haiti in Boston on 14 June begins at 02:00 BST. They will then meet Morocco on 19 June and Brazil on 24 June, with both matches starting at 23:00 BST.

Due to the expected summer heat, England’s opening game in Dallas will be played under a closed roof with air conditioning. Both England and Scotland will also play on temporary grass surfaces in Dallas and Boston, where artificial turf is usually used.

If Wales or Northern Ireland qualify through the Uefa play-offs in March, they will play all group-stage matches at 20:00 BST, facing Canada, Switzerland and Qatar.

The 2026 World Cup—the first to feature 48 teams—will take place across 16 cities in the USA, Canada and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July. Mexico will host the opening match at the historic Estadio Azteca, while the final will be played in New Jersey.

Fifa confirmed that the full match schedule will be finalised in March after the remaining qualification spots are decided.

Travel analysis shows England supporters face one of the toughest travel routes if following the team throughout the tournament, potentially covering over 6,400 miles. Scotland fans may also face significant travel demands, depending on their progress.
