Batik Air has announced the introduction of a new air service connecting Malaysia and Sri Lanka, further enhancing regional travel links.
Beginning March 30, 2026, the airline will operate four flights per week between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) and Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo. The route will be served by a Boeing 737-800, offering passengers a comfortable and efficient travel option.
The new service is expected to support growing demand for tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange between the two countries. By expanding its network to Colombo, Batik Air aims to provide travelers with improved connectivity and greater flexibility while strengthening air travel ties between Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
