iQOO 15 Debuts with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 144Hz AMOLED Display, and 7,000mAh Battery — India Launch Coming Soon

The much-anticipated iQOO 15 has officially launched in China, setting the stage for its arrival in India within the next few weeks, though the exact date is yet to be confirmed. The smartphone marks a major leap in performance as one of the first devices to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The iQOO 15 also brings a host of premium upgrades — a 144Hz Samsung AMOLED LTPO display, a massive 7,000mAh battery, and the return of 40W wireless charging, a feature skipped in the iQOO 13. The phone supports 100W wired fast charging, ensuring ultra-fast power top-ups.

Interestingly, this model becomes the first iQOO smartphone to run Vivo’s new OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, instead of the Funtouch OS used in previous global models.

Speaking about the upcoming India launch, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya stated,

In India, the iQOO 15 is expected to be priced similarly to the iQOO 13, which launched at ₹54,999 for the base variant. The smartphone will be available in four colors: Legendary, Track, Lingyun, and Wilderness.
