Sri Lanka is set to host India ‘A’ and Afghanistan ‘A’ teams for a Tri-Nation cricket series scheduled to take place in June 2026.
According to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the tournament will feature a series of 50-over matches to be played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium (RDICS) in Dambulla.
The tri-series is expected to provide valuable competitive exposure for emerging players from all three nations as part of their international development pathways.
Following the completion of the limited-overs tournament, India ‘A’ will remain in Sri Lanka to play two four-day matches against Sri Lanka ‘A’. These matches are scheduled to be held at the Galle International Cricket Stadium (GICS) in Galle.

The extended tour is seen as an important opportunity for both teams to gain experience in different formats and conditions, while strengthening cricketing ties between the participating nations.
Sri Lanka Cricket has stated that further details, including squad announcements, will be released in due course.
