The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has announced a temporary halt to flight operations at Dubai International Airport as a precautionary step to safeguard passengers and airport personnel.
According to Dubai Airports, several flights scheduled to arrive at or depart from DXB are currently being redirected to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) due to ongoing operational disruptions.
Passengers are encouraged to check directly with their respective airlines for the latest information regarding flight schedules and travel arrangements.
Authorities said additional updates will be communicated through official channels once more details become available.
Meanwhile, Emirates has also announced that all its flights to and from Dubai have been temporarily suspended. The airline has advised passengers not to travel to the airport until further notice.
Emirates stated that it will issue further updates when more information is available and thanked customers for their patience and understanding. The airline emphasised that the safety of passengers and crew remains its highest priority.
Travellers are once again urged to stay in contact with their airlines for the latest updates, while authorities will continue to release new information through official platforms as the situation develops.
