Ahaan Panday, who recently made his Bollywood debut in the YRF romantic drama Saiyaara alongside Aneet Padda, has been named the first-ever Indian brand ambassador for Davidoff Perfumes, marking a major milestone for both the actor and the global luxury fragrance house.
Davidoff, a Swiss luxury perfume brand known for its fresh, clean, and masculine fragrances, has long been popular in India, but this is the first time it has officially appointed an Indian face to lead its campaigns.
With this move, the brand aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian market, especially among Gen Z and millennial consumers who are driving strong demand in the luxury perfume segment.
Speaking about the collaboration, Ahaan Panday shared that Davidoff perfumes hold a nostalgic place in his life, recalling that “Cool Water” was the first perfume he ever tried. He described the partnership as “special and surreal,” adding that Davidoff represents confidence and authenticity—values he strongly relates to at this stage of his career.
The appointment also reflects a wider shift in global marketing, where international brands are increasingly partnering with young Indian talent to build cultural relevance and connect with fast-growing audiences. Youth-led campaigns have been gaining strong traction, highlighting the rising influence of Indian celebrities in global advertising.
The collaboration will see Ahaan front India-focused campaigns for Davidoff, including promotions for its new fragrance line, Cool Elixir: The New Oud Treasure.
For Ahaan Panday, the partnership adds another major global endorsement to his growing portfolio, further establishing his presence in the entertainment and brand marketing space.
