Indian Air Force Chief Holds Talks with Defence Secretary

The Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, paid a courtesy visit to Sri Lanka’s Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence yesterday (19).

During the meeting, the two officials held cordial discussions focusing on matters of bilateral importance and shared strategic interest between Sri Lanka and India.

The engagement highlighted ongoing defence cooperation and strengthened ties between the two neighbouring countries.

Senior representatives from the Indian High Commission, including the Defence Attaché, were also present at the meeting.
