The President of Vietnam, Tô Lâm, is scheduled to undertake an official state visit to Sri Lanka from May 7 for a two-day programme, following an invitation extended by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
During the visit, President Tô Lâm is expected to engage in high-level discussions with Sri Lankan President Dissanayake, along with other senior political leaders. The talks are anticipated to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the official programme, the Vietnamese leader is also scheduled to address the Parliament of Sri Lanka on May 8, marking a key highlight of the visit.
The upcoming state visit is expected to further enhance diplomatic ties between Sri Lanka and Vietnam, reinforcing collaboration in political, economic, and strategic areas.
