UAE President Tours Ministry of Defence Headquarters

Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited the UAE Ministry of Defence as part of his ongoing review of the regional security situation.

During the visit, the President examined the latest updates related to defence operations and military affairs. The discussions focused on measures being taken to enhance the country’s operational readiness and ensure the armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to potential challenges.

Officials briefed Sheikh Mohamed on the preparedness of the UAE Armed Forces and their ability to deal with various emergency scenarios. The review comes amid rising military tensions in the region and concerns over their potential impact on regional security and stability.

The President was joined by several senior officials, including Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence; Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region; and Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs Families Affairs.

Also accompanying the delegation were Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence; Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Military Affairs Adviser to the President; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Adviser to the President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology, along with several senior military officials.

The visit highlighted the UAE leadership’s continued attention to national defence and its commitment to maintaining strong military readiness during a period of heightened regional uncertainty.
