Ex-Manchester United Manager Alex Ferguson Taken to Hospital

Former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been taken to hospital after reportedly feeling unwell ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash between Manchester United and Liverpool, according to media reports.

The 84-year-old football legend was present at Old Trafford for the highly anticipated match when he began to feel unwell. Reports indicate that he was conscious at the time and underwent precautionary medical checks before being taken for further care.

Sky Sports reported that Ferguson received immediate attention on site before being transported to hospital for additional observation.

Ferguson, who managed Manchester United from 1986 until his retirement in 2013, is widely regarded as one of the greatest football managers in history. During his remarkable 26-year tenure, he guided the club to 13 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League victories.

In total, he won 38 major trophies with Manchester United, cementing his legacy as one of the most successful figures in football.

A club spokesperson stated that Manchester United was unable to provide further comment on Ferguson’s condition.

The legendary manager remains a regular attendee at Old Trafford matches and is often seen in his designated seat in the directors’ box.
