Sadhvi Sail crowned Femina Miss India World 2026

The grand finale of KIIT Bhubaneswar presents 61st Femina Miss India co-powered by Rajnigandha Pearls, concluded on a spectacular note as the nation witnessed the rise of a new queen. Sadhvi Sail from Goa was crowned Femina Miss India World 2026 and will go on to represent India at the prestigious Miss World pageant. She was crowned by the outgoing titleholder, Nikita Porwal, marking the beginning of an exciting new journey on the global stage.

Following her win, Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra was crowned Femina Miss India 2026 – 1st Runner up by Rekha Panday, while Sree Advaita G of Union Territory was crowned Femina Miss India 2026 – 2nd Runner up by Aayushi Dholakia, completing the winning trio.

Held on April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, the grand finale brought together beauty, purpose, and performance in a seamless celebration. The evening opened with vibrant cultural acts by KIIT and KISS students, setting an energetic tone, before hosts Maniesh Paul and Sarah Jane Dias guided the audience through the event.

Across multiple rounds, the Top 30 state winners showcased their confidence and individuality, from the opening introductions to the elegant gown round. A standout segment, Vishwa Sutra – Weaves of India for the World, celebrated India’s rich handloom heritage, while designer Prbhjiit Maniktala’s collection Vazaneh added a layer of ethereal glamour to the stage.

The Top 15 finalists further impressed during the introduction round, where they were evaluated by an esteemed jury comprising Femina Miss India Asia Pacific 1970 and Miss Asia Pacific 1970 winner Zeenat Aman, Padma Shri recipient and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Olympian Dutee Chand, Femina Miss India 2002 and actor Neha Dhupia, famed choreographer and actor Dr Terence Lewis, actor Simran, Miss Universe 2001 runner-up and actor Celina Jaitley, music composer and singer Amaal Mallik, and Miss Diva Universe 2019 and actor Vartika Singh.

The Top 8 state winners took centre stage for the highly anticipated question-and-answer round, where poise met presence of mind. Each state winner was asked a thought-provoking question, testing her confidence, clarity and ability to articulate under pressure. With the spotlight firmly on them, the finalists delivered responses that reflected their individuality, awareness and strength of character, making it a defining moment in their journey toward the crown.

The evening reached its pinnacle during the coronation ceremony, where the spotlight firmly belonged to the newly crowned Femina Miss India World 2026. With grace, confidence, and a clear sense of purpose, she now steps into a role that carries both national pride and global responsibility.

For those who missed the grandeur, the grand finale will be available for streaming from May 8 on ZEE5, Times Play, and the Beauty Pageants YouTube channel. The show will also be telecast on Zoom TV on May 8 at 2 PM.

Blending celebration with purpose, the 61st Femina Miss India finale marks the beginning of a new reign, one led by a queen ready to carry India’s voice to the world stage.
