A seven-month-old infant has died following a horrific rideshare vehicle crash, with police appealing for witnesses who may have seen the vehicle prior to the incident to come forward.
A seven-month-old child has been killed in a horror crash involving a rideshare car overnight.
WA Police say a silver Toyota Kluger crashed into a tree while driving along a Nicholson Rd in Lynwood, in Perth’s southeast, about 3.40am on Saturday.
The 35-year-old driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash, while his three passengers were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have since confirmed a baby died while receiving care at Fiona Stanley Hospital, while a 32-year-old woman and a three-year-old child remain in hospital.
According to police, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, with anyone who saw the vehicle urged to come forward.
Nicholson Rd is a major arterial road in Perth’s southeastern suburbs.
