People’s Bank has introduced its “People’s Remittance – Kalin Avurudu Vaasi Draw 2026”, offering customers the chance to win valuable gifts in celebration of the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
Customers who receive foreign remittances into their People’s Bank accounts before March 31, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the promotion. All account holders receiving worker remittances via People’s Remittance between January 1 and March 31, 2026, qualify for the draw. A total of 50 winners will be selected, each receiving a gift pack worth Rs. 25,000, featuring essential and valuable items.
In addition, customers will have the opportunity to win weekly cash prizes of Rs. 100,000 through the “People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai 2026” draw. The bank also offers further chances to win through its “Dolosmahe Vaasi Chakraya” monthly reward programme.
According to the bank, the initiative aims to support the national economy while recognising the invaluable contribution of Sri Lankan migrant workers, whose dedication continues to uplift their families and communities.
