Official Launch of VANTHER

Melbourne’s rising Pop/Prog Rock band, VANTHER, is set to electrify the stage at The Hawthorn Hotel, 481 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, with their official launch!

This three-piece powerhouse, formed by Shivantha, will perform live in a bid to represent Victoria at the prestigious Arlie Beach Festival in Queensland this November.

The band, featuring Shivantha on guitar/vocals, Jesse Bates on drums, and Zak Monaghan on bass, brings an eclectic fusion of rock, soul, prog, and pop.

Drawing from Shivantha’s acclaimed albums Words From Not Long Ago and Clarity—recorded in New York and mastered by G&J Audio (known for working with legends like Norah Jones and Aretha Franklin)—VANTHER’s sound is a celebration of human connection, focusing on themes of love, hope, mental health, and personal growth.

Event Details:

  • Date: Friday 20th September
  • Venue: The Hawthorn Hotel, 481 Burwood Road, Hawthorn
  • Tickets: $10 Tix online and $15 Tix at door

Join us for a night of unforgettable music, and help VANTHER take the stage at the Arlie Beach Festival!
