Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that the New Zealand A cricket team will tour Sri Lanka in April 2026 for a series of limited-overs and longer-format matches.
According to the statement, the visiting side is expected to arrive on April 2. The tour will feature three One-Day fixtures along with two Four-Day games. The series is intended to help Sri Lanka’s national pool sharpen their readiness for upcoming international commitments, while also giving promising and developing players valuable match experience at a competitive level.
Tour schedule:
- April 5 – 1st One-Day match in Galle
- April 8 – 2nd One-Day match in Hambantota
- April 11 – 3rd One-Day match in Hambantota
- April 16–19 – 1st Four-Day match in Hambantota
- April 23–26 – 2nd Four-Day match in Hambantota
The series is expected to serve as an important platform for both teams to assess depth and build experience ahead of future international challenges.
