Double Medal Success for Sri Lanka’s Nadeesha Gayanthi in England

Sri Lankan shuttler Nadeesha Gayanthi received a warm welcome upon her return to the country after an impressive performance at the 108th All England Senior Badminton Championship in England.

The tournament, held in London from April 10 to 12, brought together nearly 400 competitors representing 25 nations, making it a highly competitive international event.

Gayanthi delivered an outstanding showing by winning the gold medal in the women’s over-40 singles category. She also added to her achievement by securing a silver medal in the mixed doubles event, highlighting her strong presence across multiple categories.

She arrived back in Sri Lanka on the morning of April 15th.
