Two representatives of the International Cricket Council (International Cricket Council), Imran Khwaja and Devajit Saikia, currently visiting Sri Lanka, met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on the 17th for high-level discussions.
The meeting focused on recent developments within Sri Lanka Cricket, including proposed administrative changes and structural reforms aimed at strengthening the governance of the sport.
During their visit, the ICC delegation also held discussions on the 16th with the Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee, as part of ongoing consultations regarding the future direction of cricket administration in the country.
Officials said the talks are part of broader efforts to improve transparency, efficiency, and long-term stability within Sri Lanka’s cricketing framework.
