The Board of Control for Cricket in India has unveiled the schedule for India’s upcoming senior men’s international home season, which will feature a packed lineup of matches against West Indies cricket team, Sri Lanka national cricket team, Zimbabwe national cricket team, and Australia national cricket team across all formats.
The season will include 22 international fixtures spread across 17 venues, offering fans a busy and exciting calendar of cricket.
Action gets underway in September when India host the West Indies for a white-ball series consisting of three One Day Internationals (ODIs) followed by five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
In December, Sri Lanka will tour India for a limited-overs series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is. The new year will then begin with a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in January 2027.
The highlight of the season will be the much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where India face Australia in a five-Test series starting January 21, 2027. This marquee contest will form part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle.
