Litro Gas hikes domestic gas prices

Litro Gas has announced a hike in domestic LP gas cylinder prices, effective from midnight yesterday (10).

The new rates are as follows:

  • 12.5 kg cylinder: up by Rs. 300, now Rs. 3,990
  • 5 kg cylinder: up by Rs. 120, now Rs. 1,602
  • 2.3 kg cylinder: up by Rs. 56, now Rs. 750

The adjustments come amid rising fuel costs globally, with Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) also reporting a significant increase in fuel prices due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Consumers in the Colombo District will have to pay the revised rates starting today.
