UAE Condemns Iran’s Attempted Ballistic Missile Strike on Turkey

The United Arab Emirates issued a strong condemnation of Iran’s attempted ballistic missile attack on Turkey incident within a week.

According to a statement released via the official WAM news agency, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the “treacherous attempt to strike the friendly Republic of Turkey,” noting that NATO air defenses successfully intercepted and destroyed the missile after it entered Turkish airspace.

The ministry labeled the act as a serious escalation and a clear violation of state sovereignty, emphasizing that it represents a direct threat to regional security and stability.

The UAE further highlighted that targeting friendly nations is unacceptable under international law and political norms, warning that such actions only exacerbate tensions across the Middle East.
