Innovation Meets Heritage: SLC Unveils New Team Kits with Moose Clothing

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), in collaboration with Moose Clothing Company, its Official Clothing Partner, unveiled the latest team jerseys for all formats of the game today. The launch introduces a bold blend of heritage, performance, and modern innovation in cricket apparel.

The new kits are crafted with advanced fabrics designed to enhance comfort, improve breathability, and maximize player mobility during high-pressure encounters on the field.

Fans will get their first glimpse of the ODI and T20I jerseys during Sri Lanka’s Men’s Tour of Zimbabwe 2025, while the national team already showcased the redesigned Test kit in the recent home series against Bangladesh.

Test Jersey – Classic White with a Modern Twist

The timeless white of Test cricket has been reimagined with a sleek, athletic fit for better mobility, strength, and breathability. The jersey is accented with Sri Lanka’s signature yellow-and-blue trim and fitted with mesh panels to keep players cool during long sessions under the sun.

ODI Jersey – A Nod to the Past

The ODI kit revives the retro spirit of the late ’80s and ’90s with its bold yellow band across a navy-blue base. Designed with lightweight fabric, it offers players both style and functionality—delivering nostalgia with modern-day performance.

T20I Jersey – Designed for Speed

The T20I jersey features a vibrant yellow base with fine streaks symbolizing Sri Lanka’s textile heritage. Complemented by deep blue accents, it is engineered to withstand the intensity of the game’s shortest format, offering agility, breathability, and fearless energy.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ashley De Silva, CEO of Sri Lanka Cricket, said:

“Sri Lanka Cricket is proud to unveil this new jersey, which blends our tradition, performance, and national pride. We are confident this new attire will give players the comfort and confidence to excel.”

Adding to this, Hasib Omar, CEO of Moose Clothing Company, said:

“These jerseys are more than just sportswear. They celebrate Sri Lanka’s cricketing journey, from heritage to innovation. We designed them to inspire pride in every player and fan.”

The new kits, revealed across SLC and Moose Clothing’s digital platforms at 6 pm today, will be available at leading retail outlets and online stores for fans to own a piece of Sri Lanka’s cricketing legacy.
