Perera, who is the chairman of Greener Water Limited, a subsidiary of Vallibel One Plc, aims to establish a JW Marriott in Negombo and a Ritz-Carlton in Mirissa. These projects were initially set to launch in 2021 and 2022, respectively, but faced delays due to the economic downturn. Now, with construction back on track, these hotels are expected to redefine luxury hospitality in Sri Lanka.
The JW Marriott in Negombo will feature 500 rooms, offering five-star amenities and exceptional service. Situated in the coastal town of Negombo, this hotel will provide guests with stunning ocean views, world-class dining options, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and an expansive spa.
