Qatar Airways has resumed daily passenger services between Doha and key UAE destinations, marking a significant step toward restoring regional air connectivity.
From April 23, the airline reinstated daily flights to both Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), giving travellers in the UAE renewed access to a key global transit hub via Doha.
The restoration of services is expected to ease travel for passengers connecting to international destinations, following weeks of disruption across regional flight networks.
As part of its broader recovery plan, Qatar Airways also confirmed that flights to Damascus will resume from May 1, with further network expansion planned as part of a phased return to full operations.
The airline has been gradually rebuilding its global schedule, with plans to serve more than 150 destinations worldwide by mid-June.
According to aviation authorities, several international carriers have recently resumed operations in Qatar following earlier disruptions linked to regional conditions. Qatar Airways had been operating a limited schedule of special flights in recent weeks.
Passengers are being advised to regularly check booking details and updates, as flight schedules may continue to change depending on operational and regulatory conditions.
To support affected travellers, the airline is offering flexible booking options. Customers with tickets booked between February 28 and September 15 are eligible for free date changes until October 31, subject to availability, while refunds for unused tickets are also being processed, though timelines may extend up to 28 working days.
Despite the resumption of services, the airline has cautioned that schedules remain subject to change due to safety, regulatory, and external factors.
