Las Vegas to host Super Bowl LXIII in 2029

The National Football League (NFL) has announced that Las Vegas will host Super Bowl LXIII in 2029 at Allegiant Stadium, marking the city’s second time staging the championship event.

The decision was confirmed at the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix following a review by the league’s Fan Engagement & Major Events Committee and a vote by team owners.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league is excited to return the Super Bowl to Las Vegas, highlighting the city’s reputation as a premier sports and entertainment destination. He noted that the success of Super Bowl LVIII demonstrated the city’s capacity to host large-scale global events and expressed confidence that the 2029 edition will deliver an even bigger experience in collaboration with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the Las Vegas Raiders, and local partners.

Las Vegas first hosted the Super Bowl in 2024, attracting more than 330,000 visitors and generating over $1 billion in economic impact, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill welcomed the announcement, saying the city’s debut Super Bowl showcased its unique ability to combine world-class sports, entertainment, and hospitality, and that Las Vegas is well-positioned to deliver another major event in 2029.

Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis also expressed enthusiasm, crediting the collaboration between the team, civic leaders, and the NFL for bringing the event back. He said preparations are underway to raise the standard set by the previous Super Bowl.

In the lead-up to Super Bowl LXIII, Las Vegas will host a series of major events, including NFL Honors, Super Bowl Experience presented by Jersey Mike’s, Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade, and community initiatives supporting local businesses through NFL Source.

Official hospitality partner On Location has also launched its Priority Access deposit program, allowing fans early access to secure Super Bowl LXIII packages, which include premium seating, exclusive entertainment, and curated hospitality experiences.
