The fourth and final ticket sales window for the 2026 FIFA World Cup officially opened on Wednesday, according to FIFA.
This last release covers the tournament scheduled from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, with over three million tickets up for grabs. Sales began at 1500 GMT via FIFA’s official ticketing platform, operating on a first-come, first-served basis and continuing until the tournament concludes.
Tickets will be made available in stages, including occasional same-day match releases. Due to high demand, fans may be placed in a virtual queue, sometimes waiting hours before gaining access. A countdown system controls entry, allowing users a limited window to proceed once access opens.
Overall, close to seven million tickets are expected to be issued for matches across 16 venues. More than three million have already been sold during earlier phases, including a highly competitive lottery period earlier this year that drew hundreds of millions of requests.
With demand surging, FIFA is on track to surpass the previous World Cup ticket sales record of 3.5 million set during the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
The upcoming edition will be the largest ever, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches, with the majority hosted in the United States.
