USA cricketer Aaron Jones has been charged with multiple breaches of the ICC and Cricket West Indies (CWI) Anti-Corruption Codes and has been suspended from all cricket immediately. The 31-year-old has 14 days to respond to the charges.
The alleged violations relate mainly to Jones’ participation in the 2023-24 Bim10 tournament in Barbados, with additional charges linked to international matches. The ICC cited offenses including match-fixing, failing to report corrupt approaches, and obstructing anti-corruption investigations.
Jones was part of a training camp in Sri Lanka ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup but is now ineligible for selection. He has represented the USA in 52 ODIs and 48 T20Is since his debut in 2019 and has played in franchise leagues such as the CPL, MLC, and BPL.
The ICC noted that the investigation is ongoing and could lead to further charges against other players.
