Today marks the commencement of applications for the 62nd Australian Export Awards, an opportunity for exporters across the country to showcase their remarkable achievements. This renowned program, now in its 62nd year, celebrates the exceptional efforts and contributions of exporters to Australia’s economic prosperity.
In the previous year, the program’s 86 national finalists collectively generated over $12 billion in export revenue and provided employment to more than 22,500 Australians. These figures underscore the vital role played by export-oriented businesses in driving economic growth and fostering employment opportunities across urban, regional, and rural areas of Australia.
The Australian Export Awards program serves as a platform to highlight success stories from every corner of the country, showcasing the diversity, depth, and capability of Australian businesses on the global stage. With 13 categories encompassing various sectors, this year’s awards will once again spotlight excellence across the spectrum of Australian exports.
Applications for the awards are open from today and will remain so until 14th June. Following this, state and territory winners will be unveiled at ceremonies held from August to October, culminating in the announcement of national winners at the prestigious Australian Export Awards ceremony at Parliament House on 20th November.
