The United Arab Emirates will launch a week-long celebration honouring its deep-rooted relationship with Kuwait, following an announcement made by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced that the country will hold a one-week celebration dedicated to Kuwait, beginning on January 29. The initiative comes ahead of Kuwait’s National Day, which falls on February 25.
In his official statement shared on social media, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the strength of the UAE–Kuwait partnership, noting that Kuwait has been a loyal supporter and close ally of the UAE since before the formation of the Union.
The week-long celebration aims to highlight the historic friendship, cultural ties and shared values between the two Gulf nations. The initiative also reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to honouring regional partnerships and strengthening bonds within the Gulf Cooperation Council.
