Trump Turns on Tesla After Feud with Elon Musk

Just months after publicly endorsing Tesla by buying a red Model S, former President Donald Trump now wants to ditch the electric car — following a very public fallout with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

According to a White House official (June 6), Trump is “no longer interested” in the $80,000 vehicle he purchased in March amid vandalism incidents at Tesla dealerships.

The rift began after Trump ousted Musk from his role as Head of Government Efficiency, saying on Truth Social that “Elon was wearing thin.”

Musk fired back, slamming Trump’s tax and spending bill as a “disgusting abomination” and alleging deeper ties between Trump and the Jeffrey Epstein files — a move that may have sealed the split for good.

Tesla’s stock took a 14% dive following the feud but recovered slightly by Friday, climbing 5% on NASDAQ.

Meanwhile, Trump says he won’t be speaking to Musk again, as the once-close allies turn cold.
