When the winning Block apartment was sold, the median price for a Port Melbourne unit was $70,000 less at $672,000.
Stirling said this was a rare opportunity for buyers to snag a luxurious apartment in a historic art-deco building, completely fitted out with existing furniture and appliances chosen on The Block.
“Most people walk into a beautifully styled property and then when you get it, it’s an empty shell. That’s not the case this time, you get everything including kitchen plates and glassware,” he said.

Given its easy access to Port Melbourne beach and the city, Stirling said the apartment would suit someone looking for a Melbourne pad or a couple hoping to downsize their family home.
Housed in an old soap factory, the ground-floor apartment comes with a gourmet kitchen and a butler’s pantry.
Buyers would have access to the communal rooftop garden, which has city views, as well as their own private courtyard and covered terrace.
The apartment is scheduled for auction on April 6 and isn’t the only property from The Block back up for sale.
A St Kilda penthouse from the show’s 2018 season is still on the market after being put up for sale last year and having its asking price cut three times.
The three-bedroom Fitzroy Street apartment, on the top floor of St Kilda’s Gatwick building, was originally listed with a price guide of $3.4 million to $3.7 million.
The asking price was lowered twice before being dropped again more recently to $2.85 million to $3.05 million.
And one of the home’s from last year’s season is already up for sale again. Sisters Eliza and Liberty’s renovation project at 22 Charming Street, Hampton East, sold for $4.3 million at auction in November after businessman Adrian Portelli bid against himself.
He has now relisted the house with a price guide of $2.9 million to $3.2 million.
