Tech Giant Apple Expands Presence with Sixth Store in India

Apple is preparing to launch its sixth official retail store in India, further expanding its retail footprint in one of the world’s fastest‑growing tech markets. The new outlet, named Apple Borivali, is scheduled to open its doors on February 26 at 1 p.m. IST in the Borivali suburb of Mumbai, marking the company’s second store in the city alongside its existing BKC location.

Apple Borivali will feature the brand’s distinctive peacock‑inspired visual identity — a design motif the company has used at recent Indian store openings, including Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, and Apple Noida. The design is intended to reflect creativity, attention to detail, and a sense of arrival, according to Apple.

The new store is part of Apple’s broader strategy to deepen its presence in India by offering customers a full flagship retail experience. Like other Apple Stores, Apple Borivali will provide access to the latest Apple products and services, hands‑on demonstrations, and expert support from teams of Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and dedicated Business staff. Customers will also be able to participate in Today at Apple sessions — free daytime experiences focused on learning and creativity.

In addition to product displays, the store will support services such as Apple Pickup, trade‑in options, personal setup assistance, and help with switching to the iOS ecosystem. To celebrate the opening, Apple has released exclusive Apple Borivali wallpapers and curated Apple Music playlists inspired by the energy and culture of Mumbai.

This latest opening reflects Apple’s continued commitment to India’s retail market, where the company has steadily increased its presence through strategic store launches and growing local demand for its products.
