Taylor Swift just opened up a new chapter of the Eras Tour with the European leg of said tour, and with that came a bunch of new costumes. Some are simply refreshed versions of the prior looks, like the Versace bodysuit and jacket she wears in the Lover portion of the show, which is now a pink-orange ombré, or the flowing dress for Folklore and Evermore, but for the brand new Tortured Poets Department segment, Taylor Swift opted for a custom Vivienne Westwood gown covered in lyrics from the album.
The sleeveless couture gown is bright white with a corseted bodice and a full peekaboo skirt. The words “I love you, it’s ruining my life” are written all over the skirt in delicate black script, a direct line from the lead single “Fortnight.” According to a press release, the dress is made of recycled taffeta. Swift performs “Fortnight” sitting opposite a dancer at a table that moves, replacing the prior “Tolerate It” table scene from round one of Eras.
