Swiss Disaster Relief Arrives in Sri Lanka

A special flight carrying 2.6 metric tons of disaster relief supplies from Switzerland touched down at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake this morning (06).

The aid shipment, consisting of 17 carefully packed units, includes advanced water purification systems and other essential operational equipment intended to support emergency response efforts in Sri Lanka.

The consignment was transported from Zurich aboard Edelweiss Air flight WK 064, marking another gesture of humanitarian support extended by Switzerland during critical times.
