Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin is yet again serving style inspo with his choice of footwear. This time, he’s straying from the status quo with a twist on a fan-favorite.
Today, April 8, Hyunjin shared a new photo dump showing off his street style on his personal Instagram page. To complete his laid-back off-stage outfit, Hyunjin opted for a not-so-typical choice: all-black Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.
In an era where white sneakers are a go-to outfit staple for many, including Timothée Chalamet, the all-white Nike Air Force 1s have become a mainstay in fashion. The popularity of white Air Force 1s was solidified after celebs like Lil Nas X were spotted sporting them, and models like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber made them part of their off-duty uniform.
Although they’ll always be a classic, especially among sneakerheads, the black Air Force 1 sneakers are not as favored in the mainstream. They have even come to get a bad rep, according to some, and eventually, they went on to reach meme status. But that doesn’t seem to be stopping Hyunjin, who gave us a masterclass in how to style them.

The Stray Kids member went for a casual and cool outfit with camouflage parachute pants, a gray hoodie with the sleeves cut off like a T-shirt, a black marbled hat, wired headphones, and the black Nike Air Force 1s.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Hyunjin has shown off his sneaker collection. Earlier this year, he wore a pair of Salomon sneakers proclaiming that gorpcore isn’t over yet. It seems like Hyunjin is not the only member of Stray Kids who loves sneakers, either. Hyunjin’s groupmate I.N has also been on top of the trends. I.N wore a pair of Adidas Gazelle sneakers, which have become a recent favorite among celebrities, including Gigi Hadid and Emma Watson.
