Steph Claire Smith flaunts bum in tiny gym shorts at STAX activewear party

An Australian fashion label held a star-studded party to celebrate the launch of its new collection, with a string of famous faces attending the Sydney bash.

STAX. has just dropped its “Racquet Club” line, an assortment of “luxury athletica”, featuring a mix of bike shorts, tennis dresses and crop tops.

The brand, owned by husband and wife duo Don and Matilda Robertson, has earned “cult” status in recent years thanks to its “buttery soft” fabric, inclusive sizing and affordable price point.

“Racquet Club was inspired by the country club, tennis aesthetic – really leaning into that vintage ‘old money’ vibe,” Matilda told news.com.au.

“This is one of my favourite collections ever, and one of the biggest responses we’ve had from our customers.

“We are always so grateful for the support STAX. receives at each launch and event, and everyone looks so chic in the new collection, which is available in sizes XXS – 4XL.”

Fitness influencer Steph Claire Smith, who co-owns the KIC health and wellness brand with best friend Laura Henshaw, was among the long list of stars who attended at the exclusive event in Sydney’s Breakfast Point.

The mum-of-one modelled the brand’s “midi bike shorts”, which retail for $59.95, and the $49.95 matching grey “scoop crop”, at the bash – sharing a video of the outfit with her 1.5 million followers.

In the clip, Smith can be seen twirling in the “chic” ensemble by a pool, as Henshaw – also at the event – directs from behind the camera.

“Turn around,” she instructs, before shouting: “Nah, I wanna see your bum”.

The fitness model, who recently scored a huge campaign for iconic swimwear brand Seafolly, did as she was told, turning her back to the camera to flaunt the fit of the “Racquet Club” shorts.

“Everyone get yourself a Laura Henshaw,” she captioned the cheeky clip on Instagram Stories.

Fans were quick to praise Smith and Henshaw, labelling their fitness outfits “unreal” on Instagram.

“Those shorts on you,” one wrote.

“What brand are your workout clothes?!” another asked.

As another declared: “You two look stunning. Those outfits are unreal.”

Other stars at the event included former MAFS contestants turned real-life besties Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding, who both also modelled pieces from the new STAX. range.

While Ding rocked the same $110 set as Smith, Calarco wore the shorts in the cream colourway with a navy “Racquet Club Cropped Tee”, $49.95.

Singer Jack Vidgen was also in attendance, along with Former Love Island Australia star Cassidy McGill, both longtime supporters of the brand.

Those lucky enough to snag an invite sipped on spicy margaritas and ate mini sliders.
