Shots Fired at West Delhi Car Showroom Police Suspect Overseas Gangster’s Hand in Extortion Attempt

In a shocking incident on Monday evening, gunfire erupted outside a car showroom in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, leaving BJP functionary Vikas Tyagi and six others injured. As authorities investigate, suspicions point towards an extortion plot orchestrated by a gangster operating from abroad. This incident underscores the complex interplay between organized crime and international networks, raising concerns about the reach of criminal syndicates in the digital age.

The tranquility of West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar was shattered by the sound of gunfire as two assailants opened fire outside a car showroom. Among the wounded was Vikas Tyagi, a prominent member of the BJP, along with six others who were inside the establishment at the time. Authorities quickly turned their attention to the motive behind the attack, with suspicions gravitating towards a sinister plot of extortion masterminded by a gangster operating from overseas.

Police sources revealed that the modus operandi bore the hallmark of organized crime, with indications pointing towards the involvement of a gangster known to operate from Portugal. This revelation underscores the evolving nature of criminal activities, transcending geographical boundaries through the use of digital communication channels.

Further complicating the investigation are the potential links to notorious gangsters Neeraj Bawana and Naveen Bali, currently incarcerated in Tihar jail. The duo, known for their extensive criminal enterprises, are being interrogated in connection with the incident, shedding light on the intricate web of underworld alliances.

Senior police officials disclosed that the perpetrators are suspected to be affiliated with Himanshu Bhau’s gang, a faction within the larger Bawana-Bali-Bambiha syndicate. Bhau, believed to be orchestrating operations from Portugal, allegedly made an extortion demand of Rs 5 crore from the showroom owner, prompting intensified scrutiny into the incident.

As authorities delve deeper into the case, questions loom over the identity of the shooters, yet to be conclusively determined. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the pervasive influence of organized crime and the challenges posed by transnational criminal networks in modern society.
