Veteran Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has officially joined the WhiteRock Warriors for the inaugural Canada Super 60 League, a professional T10 cricket tournament set to kick off in October 2025.
Known for his explosive batting style and over 10,000 international runs across formats, Dhawan’s inclusion is expected to add star power and experience to the league’s debut season.
The Canada Super 60 League will feature six franchise teams, including the WhiteRock Warriors, competing in a 60-ball format designed to deliver fast-paced, high-energy cricket. The tournament will be held at BC Place in Vancouver, marking one of the most ambitious cricketing ventures in North America.
The league is endorsed by former Indian cricket icon Yuvraj Singh, who serves as its brand ambassador, lending further credibility and global appeal to the event.
Sharing his excitement, Dhawan said,
“I’m absolutely delighted to be part of the Canada Super 60 League and represent the WhiteRock Warriors. It’s thrilling to see cricket expanding its horizons, and this league offers a unique format with immense potential.”
With Dhawan’s participation and several international stars expected to follow, the Canada Super 60 League aims to redefine fan engagement and bring world-class cricket to a new audience in North America.
