In a major update for fans of the Don franchise, actress Sharvari Wagh has been confirmed as the female lead in Don 3. She will star opposite Ranveer Singh, who takes on the mantle of the iconic Don, a role previously portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan in the first two installments.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Sharvari was finalized after being considered alongside another actress. The report states that the team is thrilled to welcome her aboard, especially after her rising popularity from the recent success of her horror-comedy Munjya. Sharvari is also making headlines for her role alongside Alia Bhatt in the upcoming spy thriller Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail.
The casting change follows Kiara Advani’s exit from the project. The actress, who was initially slated to star opposite Ranveer Singh, recently announced her pregnancy with husband Sidharth Malhotra. According to Pinkvilla, Kiara chose to prioritize her personal life and step away from Don 3, although she continues to work on other films like War 2 and Toxic.
