Early Life
Tharaka was born on 15 November 1990 in Balangoda, Sri Lanka. Her father, Susantha Wijayabandara, and her mother, Suraji Fernando, who is a professional beautician, have been integral influences in her life. She began her education at St. Agnes Convent in Balangoda. Later, she moved to Negombo, her mother’s hometown, where she continued her education at Newstead Girls College.
