Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Netflix, has unveiled an exclusive “Stranger Things” theme and wallpaper collection for Samsung Galaxy users, celebrating the final season of the globally popular series.
Starting January 12, Galaxy users in 186 countries can download the special theme and wallpapers via the Galaxy Store at no additional cost. The offer is available for a limited time to users who download or launch the Netflix app.
Iconic Visuals Inspired by a Global Phenomenon
Since its debut in 2016, “Stranger Things” has played a significant role in Netflix’s rise as a global entertainment leader. Following the release of Season 5, Part 1 on November 27, 2025, the series ranked No. 1 in 91 countries, recording 59.6 million views within its first five days — the strongest opening performance for an English-language series on Netflix.
The series also made history by becoming the first Netflix show to place all five seasons simultaneously in the Global Top 10, maintaining the record for five consecutive weeks. All episodes of the final season are now streaming worldwide on Netflix.
Samsung’s exclusive content, inspired by Season 5, includes a custom Galaxy theme and five wallpapers featuring live-action characters and iconic settings such as Hawkins and the Upside Down. The visuals aim to bring the show’s distinctive atmosphere directly to users’ devices.
Continuing a Strong Creative Partnership
The collaboration builds on a long-standing partnership between Samsung and Netflix, following previous joint projects including special themes for “KPop Demon Hunters” and earlier promotions for “Stranger Things” Season 4.
The theme package is available on Galaxy smartphones running Android OS 15–16, while wallpapers can be downloaded on devices running Android OS 8 or later. Availability may vary by model, and the offer remains valid from January 12 to February 22, subject to change or withdrawal without prior notice.
