Run For Their Lives (RFTL) Returns with 12th Edition Charity Run

The Rotaract Club of Colombo Uptown is set to host the 12th Edition of Run For Their Lives (RFTL), its annual charity run, on Sunday, 8 February 2026, at Race Course, Colombo 07, starting at 6.30 am.

This much-anticipated 5km charity run is organised in aid of the Apeksha Cancer Institute, Maharagama, continuing a proud tradition of using sport and community spirit to support a vital national cause. Over the years, RFTL has grown into one of Colombo’s most meaningful charity runs, drawing participants from all walks of life who come together to run for hope, strength and survival.

The 12th edition promises the same powerful energy and purpose that has defined the event since its inception. Participants are invited to lace up their running shoes and stand in solidarity with cancer patients, proving once again that every step taken can make a difference.
