Romantic Evening – Chapter 02: Music That Rebuilds Hope

The Alumni Association of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) is set to present “Romantic Evening – Chapter 02,” a memorable musical night on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at 7.00 PM at the Musaeus College Auditorium.

Held under the theme “Music to rebuild — minds, futures, and the IT Centre that empowers generations to come,” this year’s annual musical event is dedicated to supporting the reconstruction of the University of Peradeniya IT Centre, which was severely damaged by recent floods.

The evening promises a captivating blend of melody and emotion, featuring outstanding performances by some of Sri Lanka’s most loved artists — Kasun Kalhara, Shirley Waijayantha, Kanchana Anuradhi, and Supun Perera.

Beyond being an enchanting musical experience, the event carries a deeper purpose: bringing people together through music to help restore a vital educational space that nurtures future generations.
