Bringing people back to the City
- $5,000 incentives for 1,000 businesses that move their lease to the CBD.
- Free Monday coffee vouchers.
- Discounted Friday public transport fares.
No council rate increase for the next two years to assist with cost-of-living pressure on households.
Free parking after 6:30 PM to drive more people to the city, more often.
More affordable housing by using every lever available to us including grants, planning agreements & maximising city owned land.
Support the homeless by working with agencies like the Salvation Army to improve support services.
Major Events and Tourism Plan to bring visitors back to the city and boosting the local economy.
Improve the sustainability of the city by increasing the budget for community parks with a better plan for urban greenery.
