A Chinese fast fashion online store will set up a popup shop in Brisbane.
The online retailer SHEIN is set to unveil their shop in Mitchelton, Brisbane, on Friday February 9.
It will be the sixth popup in Australia, following wildly successful iterations in Melbourne and Sydney.
The shop will be set up in Brookside Shopping Centre and will aim to showcase the brand’s broad range of products.
With a view to provide for all ages, genders, fashion tastes and body sizes, SHEIN will be selling apparel and accessories – not only for people, but also pets.
A range of immersive experiences will also be on offer at the popup shop, including a ball pit, a beauty bar for cosmetics and makeup tutorials featuring SHEGLAM beauty products.
The shop will be open between February 9-11 between 9am and 5pm.
SHEIN has been critiqued for its fast fashion model, facing allegations of slavery in production and copyright lawsubrits from ands such as Uniqlo.
A Shein spokesman said: “Shein respects the intellectual property rights of others and takes all claims of infringement seriously.’’
