The event aimed to deepen cricket ties across multicultural communities, including Indian, Sri Lankan, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Afghani groups, reinforcing the bond between these nations and Australia through the love of cricket.

Among the esteemed guests were The Hon Jason Wood MP, Mr. Nick Hockley, CEO of Cricket Australia, Dr. Sushil Kumar ji, Consul General of India, Mr. Richard Welch MP, Mr. Ross Hepburn, Chairman of Cricket Victoria, and Mr. Harish Rao, Director of Cricket Victoria.
