Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made an unexpected move in Greater Hyderabad, opting for a state roadways bus ride following a public meeting. Accompanied by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Gandhi boarded a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus after addressing the public gathering at Saroornagar in Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency. During the journey, Gandhi distributed ‘Panch Nyay’ brochures, showcasing the Congress government’s free bus travel scheme and engaged with passengers about its implementation.
In an impromptu interaction, Gandhi shared insights about the Congress party’s national manifesto promises aimed at empowering various segments of society, including women, youth, farmers, and workers. Passengers, taken aback by Gandhi’s presence, eagerly seized the opportunity to snap selfies with the political figure.
Earlier, at the public meeting, Gandhi reiterated his stance against the BJP, accusing them of plotting against the Constitution. He pledged to safeguard it while also advocating for increased reservations and outlining the INDIA bloc government’s proposed measures to revitalize the economy and generate employment opportunities.
